The crematorium is situated just outside Melrose on the road leading to the main roundabout between Newtown St Boswells and Earlston.

Bright modern facilties with good wheelchair access, toilets, car parking with       the Chapel capacity of 100 seats. There are outside speakers in the instance that the chapel is over capicity and mourners have to stand outside.

The crematorium handles music very well with a resident organist and the Wesley Music facility that can play choices of popular music to various classical pieces. This music can be downloaded for your funeral service - please allow three to four working days to allow the crematorium to set this up.  

**Only the funeral director can order this music at the crematorium -              please confirm all music instructions at the earliest opportunity.  

                The prices applicable for 2016 are listed below

1. Adult cremation inc organist                                                £  800.00

2. Children (up to & including age 16)                                     £ No charge

3. Additional time in Chapel (Weekdays)                                £  175.00

4. Memorial Service (No Cremation)                                       £  375.00

5. Cremation Only - No Service                                               £  550.00

6. Early Service - No Organist                                                 £   POA

The above fees above include: Use of Chapel, Waiting Room, Organist,           Wesley Music System, Disperal of Cremated Remains in the Garden of Remembrance, Certificate of Cremated Remains, provision of Polytainer.

Extra options are avaible for interment of cremated remains in the grounds of Borders Crematorium.  You may purchase a tree with engraved plaque or traditional headstone. Please contact the crematorium for full details.

Kyle Bros is also available to arrange services at Mortonhall Crematorium, Seafield Crematorium and Warriston Crematorium all in Edinburgh.
